Hi, I'mClarissa.

Half Swiss, half Italian. I grew up in a small mountain village, moved to Milan to study, took a leap to California — and somehow the road kept going until it landed me in London. After a decade in finance, I traded the corporate world for a travel start-up. Today, I build markets from zero and the kind of communities that make them stick and accelerate growth.

Most at home on a stage, on a flight, or on a mat.

My belief

Most businesses think they have a community. What they actually have is an audience.

An audience watches. A community shows up, brings friends, defends you in public, and tells your story better than you can. That doesn't happen by accident. It's built — through active engagement, transparency, generosity, and the kind of in-real-life moments people choose to come back to.

The journey

From a $240bn book to a market launch.

2022 — Now

Group Leader, WeRoad

Still leading trips on the ground. The easiest and most impactful way to stay close to the product, the travellers and the community I build the business around.

My style

How I actually work.

01

Corporate rigour, startup speed

A decade of finance-grade discipline, redeployed at startup tempo.

02

Community first, in real life

We live in the most connected, and somehow loneliest, moment in modern history. IRL is where that gap closes — and where humanity and businesses both find their edge.

03

Comfortable being uncomfortable

Left finance for a Series B. Launched a country with no playbook. Launching another. The uncomfortable seat is usually where the leverage is — growth lives just past the edge of what feels familiar.

04

Challenge the status quo

The default answer is rarely the right one. I push on assumptions, ask the awkward question in the room, and would rather rebuild a process than inherit one that doesn't make sense.
